This committee shall endeavor to have all eligible building and life safety professionals and appropriate members of their staff become members of the ICC Building Safety Association of Vermont, Inc.

 

 

We are an official ICC Professional Chapter. Below is a list of benefits that you can obtain as a member of the chapter

· Chapter Education -- The annual Chapter Education Benefit is the most popular chapter benefit. Chapters may choose from an ICC seminar delivered on-site or on-line.

· Training Materials -- Everyone who attends a Chapter Education Benefit Day will receive complimentary training materials.

· Chapter Discount Program -- All chapters receive a complimentary ICC membership and are entitled to receive 20% off ICC Member prices on ICC designated products for bulk orders shipped and billed to the chapter.

· ICC Chapter eNews, a quarterly publication for chapters

· Participation in Region VI Chapter activities

· Attendance at our Annual meeting by an ICC Board or Executive Staff Member.

This committee shall consist of three (3) persons and shall be appointed on the first day of the annual meeting for a period of one year. This committee shall review the books of the ICC Building Safety Association of Vermont, Inc. during each annual meeting as submitted by the Treasurer. A written report of the review shall be made a matter of record and signed by all committee members.

Education

The objective of the education committee is to organize and facilitate various types of training programs for people involved in building construction. The training will be designed to help people understand the codes and the reason for code requirements. The focus and direction of the training programs will be developed based on the interest of the chapter members.

Code Review

This committee shall consist of not less than five (5) members appointed by the President to review and report on any existing or proposed ICC code provisions.
