This presentation will explain what Borates are and how they are used to control termites and other types of pests such as carpenter ants, roaches and occasional invaders in new construction. A comparison will be made with other types of treatments, showing why using borates are considered environmentally friendly as compared to other termite and pest treatments. Participants will learn how borates are used to preserve wood and protect it from wood decay and fungus, and how borates keep you in compliance with building codes.
